Event series 2023 at Skate Plaza in Piła.
The city of Piła, MOSIR Piła, and FlowUP Group are pleased to invite you to a series of four events that will take place this summer at the Piła SKATE Plaza. We have prepared a strong dose of New Energy for the City of Piła, which we would like to share with all participants with joy!
We remember last year’s event series, which was enthusiastically received and sparked the idea of PIŁA SKATE FESTIWAL. This year’s events have been enriched with new attractions and programs designed for a wider audience. The event series promoting and popularizing street sports under the name PILA SKATE FESTIWAL 2023 will take place in three installments.
Pila Skate Festival vol. 1
(3-4 June 2023 / 11:00-19:00)
The first edition of the event is planned for June 3-4 (11:00-19:00). It’s a perfect opportunity to celebrate Children’s Day at the Skate Plaza. The main theme will be workshops on scooters, rollerblades, skateboards, and BMX bikes. There will also be a movement trainer zone, skimboarding zone – Surfing Academy and competitions, test center (scooter, skates, longboard, surfskate, fishboard, skateboard, mini BMX), inflatable zone, and relaxation zone. The goal of the event is to introduce beginners and experienced participants to skill progression and prepare them for future editions of the PILA SKATE FESTIWAL, whose prestige will increase with each subsequent edition. We invite children, teenagers, families, and everyone interested in sports. There will be attractive prizes to be won. It’s a unique opportunity for everyone to test their skills at the Pila Skate Plaza, make new friends and improve their skills.
Educational and Recreational Picnic
(17-18 June 2023, 11:00 AM-6:00 PM)
The second event in the series is the Educational and Recreational Picnic, which will take place on June 17-18, from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM. The goal of the event is to promote and encourage healthy habits and lifestyles. A covered area will be set up in Skate Plaza, filled with workshops and practices in the areas of Sports and Gymnastic Yoga, Pilates, Stretching, Healthy Spine, and the „Big Roll” flashmob – a roller skating practice that allows for exercise and body massage. The program was created with the aim of improving physical fitness and increasing the agility of all age groups. Our mission is to raise awareness and improve the quality of life for the residents of Pila. We also invite tourists and guests who want to take advantage of positive and creative events.
The educational picnic will be enriched with an educational water sports area. A large surface area pool will be set up in Skate Plaza for SUP – one of the most popular water sports for everyone. The program will include an academy and SUP competitions with prizes. The pool will also host the „Water Patrol” program, which focuses on water rescue education and responding to dangerous situations that may occur during summer vacations near the water. The educational picnic will also feature areas such as Skimboard – Surfer Academy and Competitions, Darts, Frisbee, Speed Badminton, movement trainers, and a relaxation zone with good music.”
Pila Skate Festival vol. 2

The third event in the schedule of planned events is the second edition of Piła Skate Festival, which will take place on July 15-16 (11:00 AM-7:00 PM). The event will be a workshop and local-level competition in the disciplines of scooter, rollerblading, skateboarding, and BMX. During the second edition of the festival, accompanying zones and a Test Center will operate in a similar range as during the first edition of Pila Skate Festival. We invite children, youth, and families to take part. There will be attractive prizes to be won. This is a unique opportunity for everyone to test their skills on the Pila Skate Plaza, make new acquaintances, raise the level of their skills, and prepare for the Final event!
Piła Skate Festival – FINAL GAMES

The final event of the PILA SKATE FESTIVAL 2023 summer cycle, in the form of nationwide competitions in skateboarding, scooters, BMX, and rollerblading, will take place over two days on August 12 and 13. Participants will have the opportunity to experience an unforgettable atmosphere and compete for valuable prizes such as equipment, accessories, and clothing from well-known industry brands. Financial vouchers to use at partner event stores will also be awarded to the top athletes. The judging panel will be composed of recognized personalities and authorities in the Polish street sports community.
The FINAL GAME competition will be organized into groups of players with different levels of skill, welcoming both professional athletes with advanced skills and amateurs, for whom dedicated competitions will be created. On the first day, there will be a NIGHT SESSION with an additional prize pool for the best participants. Throughout the two-day event, the Test Center will be available to everyone, featuring skateboards, longboards, cruisers, fishboards, surfskates, mini BMX bikes, and scooters. Preparation and training for the competition will be possible in the themed trainer zone. All athletes and spectators will have the opportunity to interact with the best and try their skills in the wide world of street sports.
The FINAL GAMES event will enrich a very rich program of accompanying zones. Around the Skate Plaza, there will be a Water Sports Zone, where the biggest attraction will be a large swimming pool, which will host an academy and competitions on SUP boards. In the Skimboard zone, there will be a Surfer academy and competitions. Dedicated trainers will introduce inexperienced participants to water sports.
With a view to good preparation for competition and promoting a healthy lifestyle, the „Health and Relaxation” zone will be organized. Under a climatic shelter, there will be sessions of sports and relaxation yoga, a healthy spine program, stretching, physiotherapeutic practices, and a joint healthy Flashmob called „Great Rolling” – a roller practice that supports exercise and body massage.
In addition, the event will feature zones for Fingerboards, Darts, VR Graffiti Jam, board games, relaxation zone, and the best DJ music 😊. We hope and put all our efforts to make PILA SKATE FESTIVAL – FINAL GAMES the most inspiring and best event in Poland, promoting street sports and also a great celebration bringing together communities of lifestyle sports enthusiasts.
